A few summers ago, we were making this great salve full of all these great local herbs. We were in the kitchen pouring and measuring, when we turned around and realized we had forgotten to add the comfrey, bedstraw and goldenrod oils. We quickly realized that the oils we had forgotten were all renown for their analgesic, anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties - making their combo an excellent liniment option. We set them in our local beeswax with a touch of japanese mint, and sent them out for testing. Sure enough, it was the only thing my mom found to help her fibromyalgia pain, helped recover a knee injury and was an excellent massage oil for tough knots and kinks. The salve we had in our minds didn’t work, the universe had this planned for us!
